Rev. Prof. Cephas T. A. Tushima is the current ECWA Education Director. His ministry experience of nearly three decades includes youth and student ministries, children’s pastor, parish pastor, evangelistic campaigns and church planting, and being Bible expositor and conference speaker (locally and internationally).
In addition to his duties as Education Director, Prof. Tushima is also a professor at Jos ECWA Theological Seminary, a Research Fellow at University of South Africa, Pretoria and Research Associate at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, and was an adjunct professor at Eastern University, St. Davids, USA (2009-2015).
His published works include The Fate of Saul’s Progeny in the Reign of David; Integrity Matters: Men of Honour in the Public Square, and several articles in peer review journals. He is also a contributor to Mission as Ministry of Reconciliation, Baker Illustrated Bible Dictionary, the Africa Study Bible, and the forthcoming Christian Standard Bible.
He is a member of many professional associations, and is currently the president of the Association of Theological Institutions of Nigeria (ATIN) and the President of the non-profit corporation, Hesed Resource and Development Foundation.

Prof. Tushima is a recipient of a number of scholarly awards including the Langham post-doctoral and Fulbright scholarships. He is married to Nguhemen and they have adult daughters.
